There is something different now, at least when using the RealVNC client with wayvnc server. Unlike before the connection is now - for me at least - always dropped at logoff or logon on the server's desktop, but you can reconnect and and carry on. Maybe it's an awkward way of ensuring that the client uses the same id as the user of the shared desktop.Instead it has to start a separate session.
