I'll try thisSo no wpa_supplicant.conf file? Only the ssh one? If that's the case then I'll try again.I just ran into the same issue. Apparently there is a bug in either the new Pi OS or the imager. You have to do it the old school way. Once you are done flashing the image and Pi Imager unmounts the sd card, pull it out of your pc and reinsert to mount it again. Open up the bootfs partition and simply place an empty file called “ssh”, no quotes. That is all. It works again. The file goes into the partition called bootfs. It will contain a bunch of other random files and only 1 folder.
Enabling ssh by whatever method won't do anything useful if no network is present.
I suggest you login to the Pi locally (i.e. directly connected keyboard and monitor) or via UART and configure the WiFi that way.
