That's really interesting, I am trying to run the update while connected to Wi-Fi as well! I'll have to try it with an Ethernet cable and report back. Thank you so much for the suggestion and I really appreciate it!
I am running Raspberry Pi OS on a Raspberry Pi 5 with 16GB of RAM. I decided not to use an SD card for the OS and I attached a Pimoroni NVMe Base Duo to the bottom with 2 of the official Raspberry Pi NVMe 512GB drives installed. One has the operating system on it and one is a secondary data drive. The build on the OS when it starts says that it is Raspberry Pi OS 6.0 release September 2025.
