Oh interesting [downloads new Imager version and reimages...]. I see that the new imager version (previously was on 1.9.6) is using updated configs and it does seem to work now. It also asks me for my user name on every login. Nice.
So it seems that I spent weeks trying to track down something that was a Imager bug/miss config. Such is life. I do notice that SSH (over wifi from Windows) is very slow or doesn't even connect. SSH on the device seems to work as expected. Probably another issue.
