Oh okayYou're using the legacy display stack, and I suspect the unsupported fbcp application. I'm not surprised it doesn't work if you go and invoke random combinations of options.
The dtoverlay tft9341 is not shipped in the standard Raspberry Pi kernel, and no support is offered for random 3rd party overlays.
Based on your overlay being for tft9341 and https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004 ... cification, it's nearly the same as the watterott-display overlay, but with slightly different GPIO usage for resets.
That overlay includes being able to invoke with the ",drm" override to load the DRM driver for the display, at which point labwc will render to it as an output device without issue, and you don't need to mess with fbcp.
But I have some question
Does (st7789 240x240 TFT display spi) work on latest Raspberry Pi image?
Because I have a plan to buy one
