From this article, looks like the RP1 libpio can be programed the same way as pico pio? The example quadrature encoder seems handle the gpio reading. We are also looking at reading GPIO as parallel input from external ADCs. And the pio lib we are looking at is https://github.com/raspberrypi/utils/tree/master/piolib. Wondering if I am on the right direction.
