Sorry I am stupid but a bit annoyed, just now I try to update the imager on Armbian with Cinnamon on the Pi 5 but the same thing. When I manually install it said can't find the rpi-imager package, when I download the package to install it is still Appimage, and I can run it manually on terminal, but I can't put it on the taskbar with a shortcut. I used the "sudo ./imager_2.0.0_amd64.AppImage" on terminal and it started normally with password prompt, but I couldn't make a shortcut for that to put on the taskbar. I tried that on LMDE but it started with permission error without asking for the password, or how do I do that ? I suppose the Imager is a basic and essential component on the Pi system, and all images found on the Imager for download should work with that by default. I can't recall how I install the old Imager on Armbian or it came as default, but I tried to find it on the Pi-App to no avail. That's why I want a DEB package so that it will get updated as normal.
