Followed all the steps from this guide, used the Raspberry Pi Imager:
https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentati ... arted.html
My rPi is connected to a monitor via mini-HDMI to HDMI converter -> HDMI cable.
It showed me the splash screen, then the Desktop but only for 3 seconds, then it went black. No further messages on screen, and the monitor didn't turn off or switch to its other display, which was DisplayPort plugged into my main PC.
While the Desktop was viewable, I saw a pop-up saying it managed to connect to my home Wi-Fi.
I rebooted it, got a 'rainbow' screen, then it just switched back to the same black/empty screen. Again, monitor display isn't switching between HDMI to DP to indicate no output. I'm still technically looking at my rPi's display.
I already tried adding "hdmi_safe=1" in config.txt, didn't work...
Any solutions?
EDIT: Extra context, I turned it off, removed the SD card, then turned it back on. It's showing me some kind of diagnostics screen (SD card not found).
EDIT 2: I flashed my SD card for the 3rd time using the Raspberry Pi Imager, but this time I clicked Skip Customisation.
I went through the rest of the setup on the rPi until I got to the Desktop, which was working perfectly, until I rebooted just to test. Now I'm back to square one.
