Your wpa_supplicant.conf file looks good to me. However, I believe that placing it in the boot partition only works during the initial boot. Someone correct me, if I’m wrong. BTW, even with all of the changes to networking, during all of the major OS releases, this still works during the initial boot of Trixie.
Since the introduction of Bookworm, NetworkManager is the default networking configuration tool. However, NetworkManager uses wpa_supplicant as its back-end, but the configuration file is no longer accessible to the user.
I also suggest that you try nmtui to configure the wireless connection.
