When I look at the Camera Module 3 Standard mechanical drawing side profile I see a possible discrepancy.
Who can lend assistance and set me straight?

I see the total width being 11.3mm.
If you start subtracting some of the other component dimensions there is a remainder of 0.45mm.

Let me recalculate from the total:

Total: 11.3 mm
PCB: 1.12 mm
Component: 2.75 mm
Lens assembly (from base to top): 6.98 mm

So: 1.12 + 2.75 + 6.98 = 10.85 mm
Gap = 11.3 - 10.85 = 0.45 mm
There's a 0.45 mm gap between the top of the 2.75 mm component and the bottom of the lens base assembly.
That small gap is unaccounted for in the drawing.

Then if you look at the Camera Module 3 Wide mechanical drawing and do the same math there is a -0.17mm gap. (yes negative.)

Looking at the wide angle version, let me add up the dimensions:

PCB: 1.12 mm
Component on PCB: 2.75 mm
Lens assembly (from base to top): 8.3 mm

Total of known components: 1.12 + 2.75 + 8.3 = 12.17 mm
But the total height shown is: 12 mm
That gives: 12 - 12.17 = -0.17 mm

What am I doing wrong, or are the mechanical drawings not quite correct?
