Troubleshooting • Re: Trouble of using Network manager in Buster

Im using raspberry pi with the version of Buster, trying to do the Network manager as always, however, it shows the error "Err:5 http://archive.raspbian.org/raspbian buster Release
  404 Not Found [IP: 93.93.128.191 80]"
please help , it is because the Buster is too old?

Yes. Buster is old and has been moved to the "legacy" server.

Edit your sources.list file (sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list) and change this line

deb http://archive.raspbian.org/raspbian/ buster main contrib non-free rpi

replacing the server name "archive" (it might say "mirrordirector" instead of "archive") with "legacy"

deb http://legacy.raspbian.org/raspbian/ buster main contrib non-free rpi

Then run your apt update and you should be good.
