I've got a Rasp Pi 4B and used it with the official touch display v1 before and it worked fine - but now needed a cable to join it to an HDMI monitor or HDMI tv. It worked alright for about a week but now doesn't display properly. It seems to have a problem with displaying the graphical user interface or in fact anything. The monitor displays something eg sometimes an orange screen but then goes off fairly quickly. I know my monitor and tv work alright because I've attached my R Pi 3B and got a successful display (of course that's using a trad HDMI to HDMI cable). And I'm pretty sure it's not the R Pi 4 as it lights up correctly.
Has anyone else had problems with the R Pi official micro-HDMI to HDMI cable? The only other likelihood is that the two micro HDMI sockets on the R Pi 4 are faulty. Any ideas please?
