First thing I did last time as test was purge cloud-init*, as that hampers CLI prompt. It is random behavior, you won't see it when you use HDMI+kbd.

I want to create an image, which on first boot connects to a WiFi network, and when started in QEMU shows login prompt. To connect to a WiFi network I was told to use cloud-init (boot/network-config), as otherwise `rfkill` shows that WLAN is disabled. To see the login promt, cloud-init must be deleted.
