Any ideas?
I can only think it may be overheating as there is no cooling on it just as it came out of the box (there is a fan blowing over it and the temp is quite pleasant (under 30C)

Reviewing the thread so far, there is no mention of how you are powering your RPi[5] board.


My next troubleshooting/diagnostic step would be a fresh installation of 64-bit RasPiOS Bookworm, plus current official update/upgrades.

That's all. No additional libraries, no personal scripts, no desktop short-cuts.


Does that unmodified setup still misbehave after a suitably long test/evaluation period? [ I realise the system is not usable in this state - it is a diagnostic exercise, not a proposed long-term 'solution.' ]
