Yes, it had the 1K pullup. Wired the same as the mom-spst. Lets try this, hopefully a bit clearer. BOOTSEL goes to the QSPI_SS (/CS pin on the W25Q16). The board works fine. The Xs over J18 and J19 are because the part is not to be actually placed during assembly. They are actually connected via pogo pins. Ground between the two boards is shared, btw. Sorry for the earlier confusion.
