Does a heatsink on the processor help?
Finally I can answer this question: YES.
When pushing over 650 to 700 MHz with relatively high core voltage, a heatsink definitely makes the difference.
It's not so much about overheating (didn't reach the stated default 125C overheating protection threshold), but stability in such extremes.
