Hello,
I ordered a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 with the appropriate input board and the 7-inch display. Now I wanted to connect the display using the included broadband cable and the 5V power cable. The 5V cable goes to GPIO pin 2 and the 0V to pin 6, right? I tried the display cable on display connectors 0 (left) and 1 (right), but unfortunately, it didn't work. The ribbon cable contact must be facing up on the display and down on the board. I also tried connecting the two jumper cables at J6, once horizontally and once vertically (vertical is probably the correct orientation, right?). Unfortunately, the display doesn't turn on. I also tested it via HDMI on a computer monitor, and it works perfectly! Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong and give me detailed instructions on how to do it successfully? Unfortunately, there's very little information about the display and compute module online. I also bought the matching fan housing. Could you briefly explain to me when this should turn on? Does it regulate itself based on the existing temperature, or how does it do that?
Best regards,
Samuel
