Thanks for the reply and the link to your PR! This certainly goes into the right direction and reduces the duplicate code / custom usb_descriptor (e.g. the TUD_RPI_RESET_DESCRIPTOR gets removed).

I've subscribed to the PR and will update my code once it gets merged.
