kernel8: which is what, then? 6.12.47+rpt-rpi-2712 is the kernel for Raspberry Pi OS Bookworm that is current. If you have to change kernel type (how? I've never needed to do that, ever), then the package does not work under Raspberry Pi OS Bookworn.When we switch to the "kernel8" kernel, maxima on Bookworm worked correctly.
