Hey, thanks again for the hint - will keep that in mind for some future repairs.It's not necessarily the RP1, I vaguely remember there is an LDO that gets enabled after RP1 is started. So, please check the underside of the board for any missing or damaged components. It could be a tiny component that's been dislodged.
However with this one I did reball and replace RP1 and then replaced DA9091 - same issue.
And then I realized - why on Earth didn't I check the input mosfet. And indeed it was shorted both gate to source and drain to source. Replaced it and board works as it should, so the case is solved

P.S.: if I'am not mistaken - it's the first time that I see a Pi 5 with a blown input mosfet to actually power on, get reflashed and only turn off at RP1 init. Really interesting case
