Is the cable properly seated (i.e. with the Pi4 used with chassis)?
Have you checked both sockets? Do a test: remove the uSD, connect HDMI-0 and power up. What does the boot diagnostics screen in the 'display' line report? Power down, and repeat the test with HDMI-1.
