@ame, Wirralian said in one of the posts that the relay [board] is powered by 5V. So Pico 3V3, relay board 5V and railway stuff 12V. Seems Wirralian is already doing what you are suggesting, unless I am missing something pretty obvious. Maybe you should ask Wirralian to verify that, perhaps with a multimeter.Yes. That will absolutely work, but in practice it is not necessary.
