Thanks a lot. I also used rpi-imager, after writing to disk, it fails to confirm a successfull write. I gave it a retry, but same issue.There is no reason to format an sdcard before installing the OS.
Just use rpi-imager (or etcher or dd or whatever tool you prefer).
It will not care about how the sdcard was previously formatted.
