They certainly do and I do additionally emulate that the 9 switches under each key connects at slightly different timings, as well 91 free running tonewheels and the crossbar tonewheel mixing (although I use a "energy based" system so it might not be 100% accurate, but fairly efficient), percussion and the leslie.Hammonds 'click' as well - depends where the tonewheel is when you hit the key![:-)]( "Smile")
The Percussion switch and the Leslie speaker work to hide this. There are also certain drawbar settings that seem to minimise the effect, though it's more psychological than actual sound engineering. Billy Cobham and Gary Brooker possibly the best at doing this.
The main issue been that I'm very close to maxing out both cores and I think that's the main reason of the crackling, however unfortunately my holidays are over and this moves quite slowly at the moment due to other obligations etc, but I'm crack at it again eventually, it did improve quite a bit already.
