Any performance differences are tiny, only really visible in pathological benchmarks. Not some to worry about. And in some cases the performance improves!Yeah, I am probably a bit of a tyrannosaurus. I have a very specific use case for my Pi4's where I insert them into the cartridge slot of a old video game console and use the Secondary Memory Interface to communicate with the console for use as a gamepad driver in RetroPie. I have already had to accept that there is no upgrade for me to the Pi5 and so I got a bit paranoid when I read that some things might perform worse with the dual RAM configurations/not boot off old SD cards. That said, I totally get why RPF is making this change given the insanity with memory prices right now.Heh... That's the opposite of the usual desire in this sort of change.
