Been eyeing solutions like this lately, and I stumbled upon this:
https://www.arducam.com/product/arducam ... ck-2-1-set
This product allows a camera module to be connected to a raspberry pi through an HDMI cable. It also has a barrel jack, which is supposedly connected (somehow??) to the raspberry pi's GPIO pins.
...but the only way this is connected to the Pi is though a CSI cable. How does that work? I thought the CSI was only for the video signal.
I tried to learn more, but their "documentation" is useless: https://www.arducam.com/downloads/arduc ... manual.pdf
Is this a scam? Would this actually work? I can't find any information online that explains how to actually use this barrel jack. I would love to have a mono microphone installed inside the camera housing, but this defies everything I thought I knew about the CSI cable works.

Headphone Jack: Reserved extra Pins for GPIO extension (able to extend standard audio signals, GPIO signals or other sensor signals)
